Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect).
- Experience in a senior cloud infrastructure role, managing Azure environments for 1000 users.
- Strong expertise in Azure services (VMs, Entra ID, Networking, DevOps, M365, DR).
- Proven experience in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Exposure to security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, Cyber Essentials, and OWASP.
- Proficiency with disaster recovery strategies.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal Cloud Operations Manager role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Cloud Operations team.
- Define and implement a cloud strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Establish policies, standards, and best practices for Azure governance, security, and compliance.
- Manage Azure systems, optimize resources, and ensure security and cost efficiency.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform.
- Design and implement security controls covering IAM, network security, encryption, and threat detection.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, Cyber Essentials, and OWASP.
- Work with engineering, development, and digital teams to align cloud services with business needs.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
