Requirements
Must:
- Engineering background with relevant qualifications
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding safety awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and varying cloud-based applications
- Competency in writing business letters, emails, and engineering reports
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 shift working including callout when required
- Ability to work as a mobile engineer if needed
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance according to maintenance schedules and manuals
- Participate in ongoing continuous improvement activities
- Conduct planned maintenance tasks following operating instructions
- Attend customer meetings to obtain work sign-off on equipment
- Undertake fault finding and repairs using technical information
- Complete relevant documentation for all work activities
- Be actively involved in HSQE management processes
- Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities
- Attend training courses to keep skills current
- Report parts used during service work for stock control
- Utilize IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Outlook, etc.
- Cover work in another depot as required
Description
We are seeking a Product Support Engineer (Rail) to join our dedicated team in Doncaster. Our engineers play a crucial role in conducting fault finding, routine maintenance, and repairs on mtu rail products.
