Voice Engineer

In this role, I will expect you to maintain and support our enterprise-scale unified communications services, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Collaboration Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. You will oversee the integration between Cisco UC systems and Microsoft Teams, proactively monitor systems, respond to alerts, and take corrective actions to maintain service levels. Leading the planning and implementation of system upgrades, new features, and security patches in alignment with compliance requirements will be a key part of your job. Developing and maintaining accurate technical documentation reflecting the live environment is crucial, as is contributing to the creation of global unified communications standards and best practices. You will manage hardware and software lifecycles to avoid end-of-life or unsupported system risks while providing technical escalation support, including occasional out-of-hours responses. Mentoring junior engineers and sharing your subject matter expertise across teams will also be part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will collaborate with architecture and vendor teams to assess and deliver both tactical improvements and long-term solutions.
