Requirements
Must:
- Experience of UI constraints; strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and concurrency
- Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful and event-driven APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Exposure to containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with reactive programming models
Responsibilities
- Build modern, real-time, high-performance microservices supporting core Rates and Credit trading workflows
- Design and deliver end-to-end solutions in collaboration with engineers across the technology stack
- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand trading processes, and deliver impactful features
- Contribute to the development of a scalable, maintainable, and operationally efficient platform
Description
We are an established financial markets organization evolving our Fixed Income technology landscape through a long-term platform enhancement program. This role focuses on developing real-time, high-performance applications that support key trading workflows across Rates and Credit. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions designed for long-term growth.
