Telecom Engineer

In this role, you will maintain and support our enterprise-scale unified communications services, which include Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Collaboration Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. You will oversee the integration between Cisco UC systems and Microsoft Teams, proactively monitor systems, respond to alerts, and take corrective actions to ensure service levels are met. Leading the planning and implementation of system upgrades, new features, and security patches in alignment with compliance requirements will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will develop and maintain accurate technical documentation reflecting our live environment and contribute to the creation of global unified communications standards and best practices. It will also be your responsibility to manage hardware and software lifecycles to mitigate end-of-life or unsupported system risks, provide technical escalation support (including occasional out-of-hours response), mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architecture and vendor teams to assess and deliver both tactical improvements and long-term solutions.
