Requirements
Must:
We expect you to have strong knowledge of CI/CD security integrations and DevSecOps principles. You should be proficient in security assessment tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA) and pipeline automation. Expertise in CI/CD security and automation of security assessments is essential. You need to have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Policy-as-Code (Azure Policy, OPA). Familiarity with securing hybrid/multi-cloud (Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments is also required. Additionally, you should possess strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, CIS), secure design principles, and be skilled in threat modeling, Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and Network Segmentation. Understanding architectural patterns (Multi-Tier, Microservices, Event-Driven) and frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) is important, along with an awareness of SSDLC, governance, risk, compliance, and secure coding practices. You need to have the right to work in Ireland and be willing to work on-site in Dublin as part of a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
You will design and implement enterprise-grade security assessment pipelines, integrating SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA tools into CI/CD workflows. We expect you to integrate security testing into Infrastructure as Code workflows (Terraform, CloudFormation) to ensure security is designed into automated deployments. You will support both cloud-native (Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure with tailored assessment strategies. Your role will include implementing pre-deployment validation for immutable resources and architecting scanning solutions for long-lived assets using network and agent-based tools. You will establish frameworks for automated enforcement of security baselines and compliance requirements, work collaboratively with DevOps and platform teams to embed security early in the software delivery process, and continuously evaluate emerging security tools and techniques to ensure alignment with evolving threats and technologies. Additionally, you will provide governance, secure design patterns, and best practices for security automation.
