We’re looking for a Lead Fabric Data Consultant with expertise in Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, and medallion architecture (Silver to Gold layer). Candidates should have strong knowledge of data lake architecture, including modeling, integration, governance, and security. Experience with data quality and governance is essential, along with proven success in migrating data from on-premise systems to cloud platforms. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are a must. Ideally, you hold MS Fabric certification.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing a new Azure-Fabric based data lake, utilizing medallion architecture and data fabric. You will ensure that our platform supports advanced analytics and business intelligence by employing best practices in data management and architecture.

Description
This is a contractor position for a 6-12 month program based in the Merseyside area. The day rate is between £500-575, and the role requires being onsite 1-2 days per week. The position is outside of IR35. We encourage applications from candidates based in the UK who are able to travel to the client site in Merseyside.
