Requirements
Must:
I am seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Benchmarks, alongside core security principles like Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and Network Segmentation. It is essential that you have proven experience with Azure and GCP security, as well as CSPM, CWPP, and Policy as Code tools (Azure Policy, OPA). Proficiency in scripting and programming, particularly in Python, C#, and PowerShell, is required for automation tasks. Familiarity with architectural patterns (Multi-Tier, Microservices, Event-Driven) and frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) is important. Experience in securing IaC pipelines, CI/CD integrations, and applying DevSecOps practices will also be highly valued. Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML and Quantum Computing, and understanding their security implications, would be strong advantages. Candidates must hold the right to work in Ireland and be comfortable working on-site in Dublin under a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to conduct security design reviews, assess architectures against our policies and standards, and recommend mitigations as necessary. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving a unified Security Reference Architecture along with reusable design patterns. Enhancing security controls to address security gaps, emerging threats, and compliance requirements will also be part of your duties. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure and GCP security, you will design cloud-compatible controls, templates, and "as code" modules. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential for embedding security into CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps pipelines. Additionally, you will lead threat modeling exercises and train non-security stakeholders in applying these methods effectively.
