Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Benchmarks, as well as core security principles including Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and Network Segmentation. Proven experience with Azure and GCP security, CSPM, CWPP, and Policy as Code (including Azure Policy and OPA) is essential. Additionally, proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, C#, or PowerShell for automation is required. A familiarity with architectural patterns such as Multi-Tier, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures, as well as frameworks like TOGAF and SABSA, is necessary. Experience in securing IaC pipelines, integrating CI/CD, and applying DevSecOps practices is also important. Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML and Quantum Computing, along with their security implications, would be a significant advantage. Lastly, you must hold the right to work in Ireland and be open to working on-site in Dublin under a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will conduct security design reviews, assess architectures against our policies and standards, and recommend necessary mitigations. You will maintain and evolve a unified Security Reference Architecture alongside reusable design patterns. Your responsibilities will also include the design and enhancement of security controls to address any identified gaps, emerging threats, and compliance requirements. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure and GCP security, designing cloud-compatible controls, templates, and "as code" modules. Collaboration with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD, IaC, and DevSecOps pipelines will be vital. Additionally, you will lead threat modeling exercises and train non-security stakeholders in applying these principles effectively.

This position is based in Dublin, and we are pleased to offer a relocation allowance equivalent to an additional month's salary for candidates who are willing to relocate.
