Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (B1)
- Experience supporting finance systems across multi-entity environments
- Strong understanding of general ledger configuration and finance processes
- Experience with system integrations and financial data flows
- Comfortable operating as a technical SME or system owner
- Experience supporting SAP B1 reporting layers or BI tooling (nice to have)
- Experience working in private equity backed or high-growth organisations (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical SME for SAP B1 Business One
- Configure SAP B1 GL including chart of accounts, posting rules, and workflows
- Support system ownership and governance, including user access, security, and data integrity
- Manage interfaces with subledgers, CRM, payroll, and banking systems
- Support upgrades, patches, testing, and regression cycles
- Maintain process documentation and master data standards
- Support finance users with troubleshooting and system training
- Collaborate with Finance and IT on the ongoing SAP B1 roadmap
Description
We are a global consulting firm supporting a PE-backed professional services organization undergoing a significant global finance transformation programme. The organization is rolling out SAP B1 Business One across approximately 30 global entities to enhance its accounting and finance functions. This role offers an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, primarily remote working with potential occasional travel to the US, and collaboration across diverse time zones.
