Requirements
Must:
- Degree in a related business function or technical discipline (Business Information Systems, Computer Science) or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, development, and customer support.
- At least 1 year of experience working with LYNQ MES in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle) and an understanding of how LYNQ MES integrates with them.
- Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and shop floor operations.
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Strong technical skills, including project management, system implementation, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A teamwork mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
- Tenacity in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support MES-related projects throughout the entire life cycle, from initial intake to post-implementation support.
- Support successful domestic and international deployments of LYNQ MES while acting as a liaison between business users, IT, and vendors.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize LYNQ MES to align with production workflows and business goals.
- Train end-users and develop documentation for MES processes and best practices, providing technical support and guidance to MES users.
- Develop comprehensive reports and perform data analysis to support strategic business decision-making.
Description
We offer a salary range of £90,000 - £100,000 along with additional benefits. This role can be remote, though we prefer candidates who can attend our Newport, Wales site as needed (1-2 times a month is desirable). Travel to the Newport office and potential European travel (Netherlands/Czech Republic) is required, with the possibility of US travel in the future.
