Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a similar systems administration role
- Knowledge of Linux solutions
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies
- Understanding of Microsoft applications (e.g. MS365)
- Experience with desktop/server hardware
- Knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, VPN, etc.)
- Understanding of general networking (switches, routers, etc.)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for learning new technologies
Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to the Linux environment
- Provide systems administration and support for Linux, including both physical and virtual services
- Manage and support Linux solutions on-premise and in cloud environments
- Oversee day-to-day management of Linux systems (e.g. patching)
- Play a key role in ongoing projects, including implementing and replacing solutions
