Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Test Analyst or Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of agile software development lifecycles
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of Java, Python, and SQL
- Confidence in working across development, QA, and architecture teams
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed system requirements and backlog items
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to produce solution and system designs aligned to standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation including UML and design artifacts
- Break down work into clear epics, stories, and tasks within Jira
- Identify and mitigate technical delivery risks through reviews and proof-of-concepts
Description
We are seeking a technically strong Systems / Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Glasgow, with a salary range of £49,000 to £58,500. In this role, you will be at the heart of software delivery, working closely with engineers and architects to convert complex business needs into clear, actionable system designs in a large-scale agile environment. You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction and contribute to improving our development processes while working with modern web technologies and collaborative agile teams.
