Requirements
Must:
- DV / SC Clearance ideally
- Experience working in a secure enterprise environment
- Experience with server/operating systems (Microsoft and Linux)
- Knowledge of network technologies
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud, Gateways, PKI, Email, VMware virtualisation platforms (including VCD, VSAN, and NSX), SASE architecture, Cisco, and Palo Alto
- Ability to create technical and architectural documents such as options assessments, low and high-level technical designs
- DevSecOps experience in automation and improvement in development and release processes (Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery)
- Experience in requirements management and ownership
- Experience in design and migration to public cloud capabilities (M365/Azure and AWS)
- Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration
- Comprehensive understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST IT security principles
- Experience with UK government technology strategies and policies
- Worked in a matrix organisation structure (desirable)
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), Containerisation, and Microservices (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and management of key security capabilities
- Provide 4th level oversight on technical issues
- Maintain and develop high and low designs for products
- Conduct impact assessments of functional, capability, and security changes
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of capabilities
- Engage in design and migration projects to public cloud capabilities
- Create and maintain technical and architectural documents
Description
We are a central government client seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join our team in Milton Keynes on a 6-month initial contract with a hybrid working model (3 days in office). This position offers a competitive day rate ranging from £550pd to £650pd based on experience. We strive to create an inclusive work environment and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
