Must:
We are looking for an experienced embedded engineer with strong hands-on experience in developing firmware for microcontroller-based products. You should have a solid background in both bare-metal and RTOS development, as well as strong stakeholder communication and team leadership skills. Additionally, you should be located within a commutable distance of Margate (Kent) or be willing to relocate to the area.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead the embedded software efforts, taking ownership of firmware and microcontroller development across the full product lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to shape technical direction, contribute to product decisions, and provide technical guidance to the team. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you will also mentor and lead junior members of the team. Please note this role is site-based in Margate, five days a week, with half days on Friday.
