Requirements
Must:
- DV or SC Clearance ideally
- Experience in a secure enterprise environment
- Experience with server/operating systems (Microsoft and Linux)
- Knowledge of network technologies
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud, Gateways, PKI, Email, VMware virtualization platforms (including VCD, VSAN, and NSX), SASE architecture, Cisco, and Palo Alto
- Experience creating technical and architectural documents (options assessments, low and high-level designs)
- DevSecOps experience focusing on automation and improvement in development and release processes
- Experience in requirements management and ownership
- Experience designing and migrating to public cloud capabilities in M365/Azure and AWS
- Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration
- Understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and NIST IT security principles
- Experience with UK government technology strategies and policies
- (Desirable) Experience in a matrix organization
- (Desirable) Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Containerization, and Microservices
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and management of key security capabilities
- Provide four-level oversight on technical issues
- Maintain and develop high and low designs for products
- Carry out impact assessments of functional, capability, and security changes
Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join our team in Milton Keynes on a 6-month initial contract. This role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and provides an opportunity to work within a central government client, focusing on delivering crucial security capabilities.
