Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Active Directory design, administration and troubleshooting
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments
- Experience with hybrid identity integration (on-prem AD and Azure)
- Knowledge of identity and access management best practices
- Experience supporting secure, regulated platforms
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) expertise, including certificate lifecycle management
- Understanding of certificate trust models, CRLs, OCSP and security best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, authentication and access issues
- PowerShell scripting and automation for identity and certificate management (desirable)
- SC-300 - Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (Desirable)
- AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (Desirable)
- MCSE (Essential)
- MCSA
Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and support identity and access management systems
- Manage certificate services within a secure, government-assured environment
- Troubleshoot issues related to identity, authentication, and access
- Integrate certificates with Active Directory, Azure, servers, applications, and services
- Implement identity federation, RBAC, conditional access, and Zero Trust technologies
- Ensure best practices for identity and access management are followed
- Support the certificate lifecycle management processes including issuance, renewal, and revocation
Description
We are a central government client based in Milton Keynes, offering a hybrid working model (3 days a week in the office). We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a specialized focus in Identity Access Management. This 6-month initial contract is compensated between £550 - £600 per day depending on experience, and we ideally require candidates to be DV cleared, or eligible for clearance. Our team values expertise in secure, regulated platforms and aims to maintain a high standard of technical proficiency.
