Requirements
Must:
- Strong, proven experience with PHP (versions 7/8) and the Laravel framework
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL database design and optimization
- Confident working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive front-end development
- Skilled in version control (Git) and RESTful API integration
- Collaborative team player with the ability to take ownership of projects
- Ability to pass a DBS check during probation due to our client base
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL
- Lead project delivery by collaborating with colleagues and clients to define requirements
- Ensure applications are performant, scalable, and secure
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack
- Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement within the team

In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of modern web applications, ensuring existing platforms remain secure, scalable, and performant. We follow a hybrid working model, with three days in the Northampton office and two days from home.
