Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Azure, Intune, and Entra ID
- Strong networking skills with Cisco WAN/LAN and VPNs
- Proficient in managing VMware/vSphere, Datto backups, and Nimble SAN storage
- Familiarity with security tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and Qualys
- Skilled in M365, SharePoint, and PowerShell
- Expertise in Cisco Firewalls, VLANs, and Umbrella
- Experience in vulnerability patching and SSO
- Capable of managing and training a team
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO27001, Cyber Essentials) preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT operations
- Configure Cisco firewalls and manage VMware clusters
- Lead audits for ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus
- Resolve complex Tier 3 issues and major outages
- Maintain and manage Windows Server, VMware, and Azure Virtual Desktop
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Conduct appraisals for direct reports
