We are looking for a candidate with experience providing first line IT support in a school or business environment. You should possess strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. A confident approach to remote support combined with excellent communication skills is essential. We value professionalism, proactivity, and collaboration. You must be willing to travel to sites in Epsom, Basingstoke, or Allerton 1-2 days per week. Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide first line IT support as part of a wider service desk team, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems to maximize learning and maintain business continuity. Your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and responding to service desk tickets within agreed timeframes.
- Providing first line IT support remotely and on-site when required.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and software.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
- Promoting safe and secure IT use while ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies.
Description
This is a home-based position with travel required to Epsom, Basingstoke, and Allerton 1-2 times per week to offer on-site technical support and maintain IT systems.
