Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a client-facing IT support role. You should be confident in working with Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, as well as Office 365 and Exchange Online. A solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and remote desktop solutions is essential. You must be able to manage workloads effectively in a pressurised environment while maintaining excellent customer service. Additionally, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for site visits.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide 2nd line IT support across multiple SME clients, both remotely and on-site. You will take ownership of escalated tickets from the service desk and deliver timely solutions. Your duties will include configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows Servers, desktops, firewalls, and networking equipment. You will also conduct daily system checks, including monitoring and reporting on backups. Regular travel to client sites in Cirencester and Salisbury will be required, with flexibility to support wider client needs.
