Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in an IT support / IT Technician role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory and basic networking
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work fully onsite in Clitheroe
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the school
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom technology
- Support interactive whiteboards and AV equipment
- Manage user accounts (Active Directory / Microsoft 365)
- Assist with device rollouts and system upgrades
- Ensure safeguarding and IT security compliance
Description
We are Ribble Recruitment, and we are currently supporting a school in Clitheroe by appointing an experienced IT Technician for a 10-week temporary assignment. This hands-on, site-based role involves providing frontline IT support to teaching staff, administrative teams, and students. Our ideal candidate is a proactive IT support professional with experience in an education environment or similar end-user settings. The role offers a competitive rate of up to £110 per day with the requirement of an Enhanced DBS check due to the school setting.
