Senior Data Engineer

- I expect you to maintain awareness of modeling techniques that cover a full range of analysis situations in the context of business analysis. - You will select appropriate modeling techniques to meet assigned objectives and model current and desired future scenarios as directed. - You will collaborate with clients/users and development groups to identify the most effective use of database facilities and set strategy and standards for entire application areas. - You will lead the quality assurance of corporate and project-developed data structures and associated components, ensuring that modeling is carried out consistently and corporate standards for repository administration and data dictionaries are adhered to. - You will contribute to setting standards for database objects, ensuring conformance to these standards. - Within a project environment, you will assist in investigating application data and process requirements, documenting them according to required standards using prescribed methods and tools. - You will interpret design architecture to meet specifications, such as assistive technology and parallel processing, and take responsibility for the design, coding, testing, and documentation of large, complex, or mission-critical programs. - You will analyze requirements for fitness for purpose, ensuring adherence to business objectives and consistency, while positively challenging when appropriate.
