Requirements
Must:
- Proven working experience providing IT Support
- Experienced in providing 1st & 2nd Line support
- Qualifications in Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or ITIL are advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Experience in MS Office 365 administration
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Implementations
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained
Responsibilities
- Providing 1st & 2nd line support and advice across the business, logging all issues on the IT ticketing system
- Troubleshooting complex issues by analysing root causes and evaluating options
- Performing routine monitoring of systems and software
- Responsible for the generation and maintenance of Virtual Machines and installation of end user software
- Perform routine administration for new employees and leavers
- Assist in maintaining, administering and developing the IT Infrastructure in line with business needs
- Administer and monitor internet and email filtering systems
- Responsible for the organisations software asset management
Description
We are a leading Technology & Manufacturing company based in Ferndown, seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business, offering hardware and software support for end users while also supporting the IT infrastructure and services. We offer a competitive salary of up to £34,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, company pension, and a benefits scheme, all within a supportive work environment.
