Requirements
Must:
- Experience building modern frontend applications
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with component-based frameworks (React)
- Comfortable working with APIs and data-driven UIs
- Familiarity with agile development
- Experience with React and modern tooling (desirable)
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and approaches (desirable)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) (desirable)
- Experience collaborating with backend teams and RESTful APIs (desirable)
- Exposure to performance optimisation or frontend monitoring (desirable)
- Experience deploying frontend apps or working with CI/CD (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building thoughtfully designed, research-informed digital products
- Focus on a major professional learning platform while having opportunities to work on additional tools
- Create high-quality user experiences and craft intuitive interfaces
- Own features from early design through to production
- Collaborate closely with backend developers
- Work confidently with APIs and data-driven UIs
- Engage with Engineering, Product, Design, and Research teams
- Contribute to software used globally by educators and school leaders
