Requirements
Must:
- 5 years software development experience
- 2 years experience with both C# and C
- 1 year managing a software team using Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git/SVN)
- Experience developing C applications in Linux using makefiles and GCC
- Strong experience with Visual Studio IDEs
- Experience developing WPF applications for Windows
- Firmware programming experience (or willingness to learn)
- Microprocessor C programming
- Device communications via USB, Serial, or Ethernet
- Experience with multi-project solutions in Visual Studio
- Image processing knowledge
- Exposure to IT systems, business systems, or website support
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Software Team within an Agile development environment
- Deliver software across the full SDLC, from concept through to release and support
- Design, develop, and test new functionality for Linkams software platforms
- Maintain and improve existing and legacy software products
- Ensure solutions are well-structured, testable, and production-ready
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software bugs
- Support customer technical queries where required
- Deliver projects in line with agreed schedules and business priorities
