Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a Product Developer or similar role within textile-based products
- Strong technical understanding of garment construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience managing technical documentation and product specifications
- Confident working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with garment fit, sizing, grading, and quality control
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
Responsibilities
- Manage the full product development lifecycle from concept through to production and launch
- Research materials, components, and construction methods to support product improvement and innovation
- Work with suppliers and external partners to manage sampling, testing, and approvals
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Manage fit, sizing, and quality reviews, providing clear feedback to suppliers
- Review product costings and support margin and commercial targets
- Monitor progress against agreed timelines and critical paths, escalating risks where required
- Ensure products meet internal quality and compliance requirements
- Provide accurate product information to internal stakeholders to support commercial activity
