Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in C# and WPF
- Proven track record of delivering complex applications connected to hardware/electric devices
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial
- A 2:1 or above degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing software to integrate and manage motion, vision, and laser systems
- Creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces using WPF
- Remaining hands-on with coding while guiding best practices across the team
- Leading the full software development lifecycle for new projects, taking ownership of delivery and quality
- Mentoring and supporting junior/mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews

We are offering a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior C# Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in the design, implementation, and debugging of software used to control special purpose machines. You will benefit from working closely with a dedicated team while providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
