Requirements
Must:
- Technical understanding of broadband technologies including ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, SOGEA
- Knowledge of LAN networking technologies such as Cisco and Meraki
- Experience with firewalls including Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki
- Familiarity with WAN networking (Cisco, Huawei, OneAccess)
- Understanding of SD-WAN technologies like Meraki and Fortinet
- Knowledge of WLAN networking with Meraki and Aruba
- Familiarity with cellular networking (Digi, Teltonika)
- Experience with routing protocols (BGP, MPLS)
- Understanding of VoIP SIP telephony solutions and related handsets
- Ability to employ VPN and authentication solutions (e.g., Safenet, Fortinet)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong organizational and workload analysis abilities
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Integrity in conducting responsibilities
- Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA, SIP School SSCA, or ITIL Foundation (desirable but not essential)
Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of engineers towards customer satisfaction and swift fault resolution
- Develop a good technical understanding of our business product set
- Contribute to continual improvement of new and existing products
- Provide technical leadership and document best practices for support tiers
- Offer informal assistance and formal training to peers
- Maintain internal training documentation
- Manage escalations and promote a permanent fix culture
- Adhere to contractual SLAs
- Monitor and manage faults through to resolution
