Requirements
Must:
- Eligible for SC clearance
- Full UK driving license
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (Desirable)
- Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or applicable Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Desirable)
- ITIL V3 certification (Desirable)
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role in a Business Continuity or Managed Services environment
- Experience handling and storing customer data
- Firm understanding of data cabling installation, management and patching
- Experience using a ticketing system
- Understanding of IT systems
- Computer hardware maintenance experience (troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, replacement)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Aid in the deployment, operation, and management of the Customers in our data centres
- Manage whitespace, colocation, and managed customer racks
- Conduct data cabling and power management
- Perform hardware installations and circuit installations
- Handle media and fulfill customer tasks on the data centre floor
- Complete facilities checks and report any issues to the Data Centre Manager
- Serve as the site point of contact for the facilities team
- Maintain the sites cleanliness and aesthetics in preparation for customer visits
- Communicate and manage work for customer-specific requirements
- Collaborate supportively with colleagues in a collegiate manner
