Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience working in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability roles
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Karpenter, Prometheus, and Terraform
- Strong preference for an excellent academic background (i.e. 2.1 or 1st class degree, AAB at A Level, etc.)
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects from design to implementation
- Excellent communication skills; ability to present proposals and solutions to senior leadership
- Self-starter who thrives in an individual contributor position
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Desirable experience: Cilium or similar service mesh, Flux (or Argo as an alternative), Ansible
Responsibilities
- Assess the current infrastructure setup, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements
- Work on large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Drive best practices across infrastructure and cloud operations
- Provide technical expertise to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
