Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability roles. You should have strong expertise in Kubernetes, Karpenter, Prometheus, and Terraform. A solid academic background (such as a 2.1 or 1st class degree, AAB+ at A Level, etc.) is highly preferred. You must have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects from design to implementation, along with excellent communication skills to present proposals and solutions to senior leadership. As a self-starter, you should thrive in an individual contributor position and be able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience with Cilium or similar service mesh, Flux (or Argo as an alternative), and Ansible would be considered desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will assess the current infrastructure setup, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements. You will work on large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects—designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions. Collaborating with senior management, you will ensure that the infrastructure aligns with business goals. Additionally, you will maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems, drive best practices across infrastructure and cloud operations, and provide technical expertise to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.
