Requirements
Must:
- I need a candidate with very strong front-end development skills using React.
- You should have several years of experience in a commercial role within development.
- An eye for UI/UX Design is essential.
- Knowledge of other beneficial technologies includes TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript, Git, and Python.
- Experience writing tests using Jest or other front-end test frameworks is required.
- Familiarity with terminal-based technologies like NPM, NVM, or Docker is desirable.
- We are looking for a team player with a friendly, can-do attitude, as we want to maintain our great working culture.
- Good communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities
You will be working on a platform built with modern web technologies (i.e., React/TypeScript) that connects to a backend system to support data processing and analysis. Your role involves enabling users to interact with complex datasets and machine learning features through a user-friendly interface. I expect you to be responsible for implementing and improving interactive components, ensuring smooth performance and a great user experience, particularly when dealing with complex state and data-heavy workflows.
Description
This position is based in Cambridge with a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week. The salary ranges from £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, complemented by 25 days of holiday and benefits.
