Requirements
Must:
- Legal background or qualification
- Strong understanding of data protection law and compliance processes
- Knowledge of the Schools Admissions Code 2021
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted source of guidance on UK GDPR matters
- Draft statutory policies and manage data subject requests and breaches
- Coordinate annual audit programme with external Data Protection Officer
- Develop annual admissions policies
- Advise on complex or escalated admissions queries
- Prepare case statements for independent admission appeals
- Analyze admissions data to support strategic planning
