Requirements
Must:
- I require 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and/or software engineering across a wide range of technologies, languages, and frameworks.
- I am looking for proven experience in architecting cloud-native enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure (Azure Solution Architect certification or equivalent is a strong plus).
- Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem is essential for delivering robust enterprise-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience in designing distributed microservices and event-driven integrations is necessary.
- Proficiency with modern web frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript, SPA/SSR, and REST APIs is expected.
- Experience in designing composable architectures (JAMstack, MACH), enabling scalable, API-first, modular solutions is important.
- I also need a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, Azure AD, Auth0, Okta).
- A solid background in leading Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery teams is beneficial.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps) is required to drive maturity in these areas.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills are crucial, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
- I value a creative, innovative mindset with a talent for identifying opportunities and crafting compelling solution strategies.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will lead the design of end-to-end enterprise solutions across multiple projects and business areas.
- I will act as the design authority and architectural lead for cross-functional development teams.
- Coaching and mentoring engineers and architects to elevate architectural maturity across the business is a key component of the position.
- I will engage with stakeholders to translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable strategies.
- Additionally, I will champion agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices to drive quality and speed.
Description
This position requires the candidate to be onsite in London for 2-3 days per week, so please apply only if you can fulfill this requirement and are willing to operate inside IR35 and through an umbrella company.
