Must:
I am looking for an experienced Support Engineer who has a strong technical foundation and exceptional customer service skills. You should have a strong general understanding of IT principles, including networks, hardware, and domains. Additionally, familiarity with leading software packages, particularly Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes, is essential. Proficiency with Windows 10/11 operating systems and related applications is required. Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-user device hardware and software issues, as well as exposure to virtualisation, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and VPN environments, would be beneficial. Experience with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous. A knowledge of the ITIL framework along with prior experience in an ITIL-aligned environment is important, as well as proficiency in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-facing skills are also a must.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing Level 1/2 support across networks, domains, hardware, and software environments. You will deliver end-user support for Windows 10/11 devices, applications, and peripherals. Troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (including BlackBerry and iPhone) will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will build, configure, replace, and maintain End User Computing (EUC) hardware components. Supporting data backup processes and recovery techniques is also part of your responsibilities. You will work within virtualised, MDM, and VPN environments to ensure secure and efficient connectivity. Using Microsoft SCCM for device management is an advantage. You will log, track, and resolve tickets within ServiceNow, adhering to ITIL practices, while maintaining accurate documentation and records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes. Providing clear, professional communication to end-users to ensure an exceptional customer experience is critical. You will also need to manage your workload independently while maintaining high productivity and efficiency.
Description
