Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a Level 1 or deskside support role within a corporate or managed services environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and common end user applications
- Basic Active Directory experience
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide first line deskside IT support to end users across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Install, configure, and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Carry out basic Active Directory tasks including password resets, account unlocks, and permissions
- Escalate more complex issues to second and third line teams when required
- Log, update, and close tickets accurately within the IT service management system
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Description
We are seeking an Interim Level 1 Engineer to provide hands-on deskside and end user support within a corporate office environment in Great Yarmouth. This role will run from December 29, 2025, to January 26, 2026. It is a customer-facing position requiring strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. The Engineer will act as the first point of contact for onsite IT issues, ensuring users are supported efficiently and professionally while adhering to agreed service levels.
