Requirements
Must:
- Existing CHECK Team Lead qualification
- Proven Team Lead experience
- Extensive hands-on penetration testing expertise
- Deep technical mastery in security testing
- Fluent in a wide arsenal of security testing tools
- Up-to-date understanding of modern technologies, threats, and security trends
- Knowledgeable in key industry bodies, frameworks, and security standards
- Strong ability to translate vulnerabilities into real-world business risk
- Excellent reporting and client presentation skills
- Experience in growing and developing technical teams
- Strong communication skills to build trust with clients and peers
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset
- Passionate about penetration testing and nurturing teams
- Eligible to work in the UK and obtain Government clearance
Responsibilities
- Improve and develop penetration testing methodologies
- Guide project scoping and execution
- Establish new testing services and shape future direction
- Deliver high-quality penetration tests across various domains
- Research vulnerabilities and plan assessments
- Support clients during ongoing incidents
- Conduct vulnerability scans and analyze findings
- Produce high-quality technical reports
- Create internal documentation and threat libraries
- Provide technical presales support and contribute thought-leadership content
- Identify business development opportunities
- Mentor and coach the technical team for their growth
Description
We are a CREST-certified cybersecurity consultancy committed to excellence, innovation, and integrity, offering a role of Penetration Testing Team Leader. This position is remote with travel to client sites and occasional meetings in London or the Channel Islands. We offer a salary of up to £95,000 DOE plus benefits, including 23 days holiday, a 6% contributory pension, and career progression opportunities.
