Requirements
Must:
- Experience working as a professional web developer (Front-End & Back-End)
- Familiarity with WordPress, themes and plugin development
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, SEO, Git, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce and Shopify
- Experience in hosting and managing domains
- Excellent attention to detail
- Meticulous approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, finished products
- A full understanding of spoken and written English (essential)
- A full UK driving licence (not essential)
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a creative team
- Liaise with customers to build an in-depth understanding of the brief
- Code new sites from scratch from in-house designs
- Transfer existing sites across to our platform and update where required
- Manage the final deployment, ensuring a smooth transition to the live environment
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Guarantee flawless responsive and cross-browser compatibility across all major platforms
- Provide ongoing support, updates, and fault-finding
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain all websites, including code, software, plugins, and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality
- Recommend additional enhancements and revenue generating upsells
