Requirements
Must:
- 25 years of solid software engineering or integration experience
- Good knowledge of C#.NET, VB.NET, SQL, XML/JSON, web tech, and Visual Studio
- Curiosity, initiative, and confidence to work directly with clients
- An outgoing personality, eager to learn, grow, and progress
- A full UK driving license (as site visits are required)
- Bonus skills:
- Familiarity with Scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Management Studio
- Understanding of networking and servers
- Experience with ERP or management systems like SAP or NetSuite
- Knowledge of the automation industry
Responsibilities
- Build clever integrations that link customer ERP and reporting systems with on-site software
- Develop innovative ways to enhance data flow, particularly with APIs
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and create elegant solutions
- Visit sites (mainly UK, occasionally overseas) to commission projects and see implementations in action
- Troubleshoot, fine-tune, and enhance systems that support factory operations
- Collaborate closely with teammates across the business to advance integrations
