Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with ASP.NET using C# in .NET Core or .NET 6
- Solid experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web APIs, Git-based version control, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of modern software development principles, including security best practices
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Blazor, or legacy AngularJS
- Familiarity with Entity Framework, Kibana, Grafana, test-driven development, and agile ways of working
- Exposure to event-driven platforms, microservices architecture, containerisation, Kubernetes, or Microsoft Azure (advantageous)
- Proactive and organized, comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, able to contribute confidently in meetings and build relationships across teams
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable software that supports customers in managing and growing their businesses
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute ideas to future development
- Deliver development sprints to agreed timelines while ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Support and motivate an agile development team, coordinating sprint activity and completing code reviews
- Take ownership of sprint and release activity, planning and prioritizing work based on risk and delivery timelines
- Ensure code quality with regular reviews, documentation, and adherence to best-practice development standards
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Coach and mentor team members, raising the overall technical capability of the team
