Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in C# & .NET 4.8, ASP.NET MVC, and Knockout.js
- Strong understanding of Azure SQL and Azure DevOps
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize legacy code
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Experience leading or mentoring software engineers (preferred)
- Familiarity with modern technologies like .NET Core and Angular (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve technical performance issues in our flagship software product
- Optimize performance, reliability, safety, and scalability of legacy applications
- Collaborate with two software engineers and access QA support as needed
- Operate outside of traditional ticket-based Agile systems
- Proactively address security risks and traffic spikes
- Contribute to the transition to a new version of the product over the next 18-24 months
- Explore progression paths within the architecture team, tech lead roles, or management as desired
