Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in PHP and Laravel development
- Good understanding of backend architecture and database design
- Confident working with APIs, integrations, and data-driven platforms
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience mentoring others or leading small projects
- Interest in continuous learning and improving processes
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel
- Create APIs and data models to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
- Improve performance, reliability, and security across the platform
- Work with frontend and customer teams to ensure smooth integrations
- Support users through second- and third-line technical issues
- Review code, share knowledge, and promote best practices
- Help shape the technical roadmap and identify new tools and technologies
- Mentor junior developers and support their growth
- Keep documentation up to date and contribute to continuous improvement
Description
We offer a salary of up to £42,900 depending on experience, along with a collaborative and supportive team culture. You will have opportunities to influence platform direction and technical decisions while working 34 days a week in our Lincoln office.
