Contract Business Analyst

- Work proactively with the business and stakeholders to capture and turn high-level asks into detailed refined requirements - Communicate with stakeholders to ensure refined requirements meet the desired feature outcomes and consider identified impacts or gaps - Communicate with tech teams to align the agreed requirements into a workable solution and breakdown - Create variable specifications with detail, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation to deliver quality stories into the backlog - Work closely with stakeholders and tech teams to ensure that agreed requirements are followed during solution delivery - Manage delivery and timescales alongside SDMs, raising any risks to deadlines - Monitor output of work items during sprints to ensure deliverables match the intended solution - Facilitate demonstrations, business workshops, and meetings for high user-centric outputs - Manage product lifecycle deliverables, understanding what products are released and timelines involved - Prioritize work item backlog and challenge tech teams on progress, ensuring blockers are communicated and removed - Liaise with business areas and stakeholders to complete processes and planning for releases - Support management of formal business demand pipeline capture and prioritization - Apply methods to carry out investigations, analysis, review and documentation of business functions and processes - Produce and maintain documentation and help pages for stakeholder awareness of releases and features - Champion the voice of the customer in meetings to ensure users needs are reflected in requirements and solutions - Actively participate in stand-ups with tech teams, contribute when needed, and represent the team on stakeholder queries - Understand business needs by working with stakeholders to deliver the right solutions - Identify techniques and workflows to continuously improve processes in collaboration with SDMs and the wider business
