Senior Business Analyst

- I am responsible for managing the analysis function and acting as a Subject Matter Expert, defining and owning the capabilities of the business systems. - I manage a small team of Business Analysts and work closely with technical stakeholders to capture both as-is and proposed changes to processes and systems, supporting the realization of business case benefits. - I provide governance and oversight across a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning multiple lines of business across various business units. - I am the go-to expert for software platforms, product sets, and business system capabilities. - I seek solutions and address deficiencies in products, processes, or knowledge and manage delivery into production and live use for businesses across all regional offices. - I define and develop capabilities of existing products or processes in live operation. - I capture and transform business requirements into technical solutions using techniques such as Use Cases, User Stories, UML diagrams, and other artifacts. - I test new functionality as defined and developed with my involvement. - I analyze APIs for integrating third-party platforms such as airline reservation and airport operation systems, hotel booking facilities, payment gateways, and insurance services. - I run workshops with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with third-party providers to understand the behaviors and requirements of interface systems. - I demonstrate and present product and resolution ideas to both internal and external audiences, including existing/potential clients and supplier partners. - I ensure visibility of product or process changes, maintaining clear communication for technical teams. - I provide assistance, support, and guidance to all personnel regarding business and technical system requirements. - I drive and support feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for stakeholder evaluation. - I assist in defining the success criteria of initiatives and report on the actual realized benefits. - I oversee governance across a portfolio of complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. - I identify how proposed solutions can address business goals while adhering to travel industry rules and best practices. - I prepare progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations for various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders. - I establish analysis practices, policies, templates, tools, and partnerships to meet and mature our business needs and capabilities. - I manage my team of Business Analysts, including day-to-day people management tasks such as coaching, mentoring, motivation, performance reviews, and workload distribution.
