Requirements
Must:
- Full-stack experience across a selection of JavaScript frameworks (React, NextJS)
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and Java REST API development & OpenAPI / Swagger
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficient in using relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of Elasticsearch / Opensearch
- Experience with unit testing / automation and use of testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Jest, Cypress)

Description
We are Raytheon UK and we offer a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Principal Software Engineer to join our experienced team at our Manchester or Gloucester sites, utilizing a hybrid working pattern. This role provides the opportunity to focus on technical work while also guiding and developing junior team members. As part of a cross-functional team, youll be involved in delivering and deploying critical software across various business areas. We require all candidates to hold SC clearance and be eligible and willing to obtain eDV clearance. We appreciate that you may not be an expert in every required area, and we offer support with training and development!
