Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for precision. Essential skills and experience include:
- Hands-on experience with system, hardware, and software testing
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of the full system engineering lifecycle
- Knowledge of cyber security processes and patch testing
- Experience with tools like Helix ALM, Jira, or similar
- A methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Bonus: Experience with security systems and baggage screening technologies
Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing software and systems, including X-ray scanners and Matrix IT networks, under the guidance of the System Test Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing system verification and validation testing
- Developing test procedures and test cases
- Conducting functional, performance, regression, and cyber security patch testing
- Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects
- Installing and validating cyber security patches on test servers and workstations
- Verifying software builds and configurations
- Providing timely test results and feedback to design and development teams
- Supporting continuous improvement of testing processes
- Assisting in planning test programs for RTT products
