Requirements
Must:
- 5-7+ years of experience in Data Science (more experience is welcomed)
- High expertise in Python and Machine Learning (ML)
- 3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Familiarity with LangChain and LlamaIndex
- Understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD practices
- Experience with Risk Modeling or financial services is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize risk models for analytics and generative AI applications using proprietary NLP data generation processes
- Develop and maintain robust ML and data pipelines for experimentation and deployment
- Prototype and test new approaches for extracting insights from structured and unstructured data
- Explain ML/NLP model outputs and methodologies to non-technical stakeholders to drive strategic decisions
Description
We are a premier global credit ratings and financial information firm, seeking a hands-on Data Scientist to join our team on a remote basis from the UK. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension, offering a day rate between £427.68 and £565, inside IR35. You will play a key role in launching a brand-new analytics platform for elite institutional clients including corporate banks and asset managers, and collaborate with a cross-domain team of economists, political scientists, and developers.
