Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in building and scaling services using Java, Postgres, and BigTable on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience managing data pipelines, specifically utilizing Scio and Flight
- Previous experience in E-commerce or Financial Engineering is highly preferred
- Exceptional writing and verbal skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Self-driven, collaborative, and thrives in a high-autonomy environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable features within our core services
- Execute meaningful changes to high-scale, complex distributed systems
- Drive engineering deep dives, technical workshops, and stakeholder demos
- Participate in tight feedback loops and peer reviews to elevate the teams output
Description
We are looking for a high-impact Back End Engineer to lead solution designs and execute end-to-end implementations of critical service capabilities in our new London office. Based in the CET timezone, which includes Sweden, the UK, and Germany, you will be part of a collaborative environment prioritizing fast decision-making and technical excellence. This role operates in a hybrid mode, with 2-3 days in the office.
