Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Windows and Linux server administration
- Strong command of core networking services: DDI (DNS/DHCP), Firewalls, and VPNs
- Proficiency in administering Entra ID (or similar IAM tools), Active Directory, and SSO
- Demonstrated ability to drive automation using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
Responsibilities
As a System Administrator, I will expect you to maintain exceptional service reliability, security, and efficiency across our complex, business-critical hybrid environment. Your core focus will include managing all operations and maintenance across this hybrid setting, which encompasses systems from foundational IaaS to platform and software services (PaaS/SaaS) alongside local infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing and testing advanced Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup solutions to ensure data resilience and will collaborate closely with managed services providers on strategic projects to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will provide final escalation support and perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
Description
This is a high-profile contract role based in London or Sheffield, with a duration of 6 months. The pay range for this position is £500 to £550 Inside IR35.
